Whilst adolescence is often an exciting time of self-discovery and independence, many young people are facing academic and social pressures, dealing with friendship and family dynamics and wrestling with self-regulation. These difficulties can leave them feeling overwhelmed, disconnected and struggling with their mental health. How coaching can help
Coaching provides young people with the tools and strategies they need to navigate the obstacles of adolescence, whilst also offering a safe space to explore and make sense of the challenges they face. Coaching empowers young people to approach life’s challenges with a healthier, more balanced mindset.
Youth coaching covers topics such as:
• Developing personal resilience.
• Reducing procrastination
• Self-regulation.
• Dealing with overwhelm
• Increasing motivation and engagement in learning.
• Increasing aspiration and achievement.
• Developing self-belief and self-worth.
• Building confidence.
• Developing communication and interpersonal skills.
• Developing problem solving abilities.
My focus is on generating self awareness, identifying and mitigating blockers/limiting beliefs, creating actionable plans and providing tools and strategies for problem solving.Through regular check-ins and self-reflection, I encourage accountability and help young people build a strong foundation of skills to confidently navigate their challenges.

After qualifying, I worked as an employment lawyer in the UK for 13 years before moving to Portugal with my husband and two young children in 2015.Having spent a few years looking after my young family and volunteering in various positions in my children's international school, I decided to pursue my aspirations of supporting others and retrain as a Coach.I am now a fully qualified Life Coach with a Certificate in Coaching from the University of Cambridge.I am passionate about working with young people, helping them through this exciting phase of their life and supporting them to find wellbeing, confidence and joy.In my free time, I love walking on the beach or in the Sintra hills with my family and our dog Oscar, running, playing tennis and spending time with my family and friends.
